Thomas Stark, DDS is the Chief of Graduate Dental Education and Dean of the US Army Postgraduate Dental School. He received a DDS from the University of Iowa. Following dental school, he completed residencies in pediatric dentistry at Texas A&M, and orofacial pain at the University of Kentucky. He has 25 years of experience treating patients in military settings and is board-certified in pediatric dentistry, orofacial pain, and special care dentistry. He has worked in hospital-based interdisciplinary pain management centers, and he has served as the scientific lead for a pain and sensory trauma research team. He has authored numerous articles and textbook chapters, and he has served on multiple governmental and non-governmental councils and working groups related to pain management.
