Dr. Vahid Khoshkam is a board-certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He received his specialty training in Periodontology and earned a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology from the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Khoshkam maintains a private practice in El Paso, Texas, with a clinical focus on periodontal plastic surgery, implant dentistry, soft tissue augmentation, and esthetic periodontal reconstruction.
Dr. Khoshkam has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and textbook chapters and serves as a peer reviewer for leading dental journals. An International Team for Implantology (ITI) Fellow and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, he is an internationally invited lecturer whose presentations emphasize evidence-based approaches to periodontal regeneration, peri-implant soft tissue management, and contemporary implant therapy.
